Day 1 Los Angeles – Mexico City
Arrival transfer from airport to hotel, the rest of the day at leisure. Check in hotel.
Day 2 Mexico City – Teotihuacán – Mexico City
Breakfast. Today we will take a sightseeing tour which includes Reforma, Zócalo, Palacio Nacional (where we will see some fantastic murals by Diego Rivera), Cathedral, Metropolitana, and also a panoramic ride through the historical centre. We will also visit the “Place of the three cultures” and the Basilica of Guadalupe. Afterwards we will drive to the archaeological site of Teotihuacán.After climbing the famous pyramids of the sun and the moon, and visiting the whole territory you will have free time for shopping (30 minutes) and lunch (1 hour). On our return to our hotel we will drive through the residential area Lomas and also Chapultepec Park.
Day 3 Mexico City – Cuernavaca – Taxco – Mexico City
Breakfast. This morning you will be picked up at your hotel and driven to Cuernavaca for a tour of the historical centre and the cathedral. Afterwards we will continue to Taxco where we will visit the Church of Santa Prisca and a silver workshop and you will have free time for shopping. Afterwards we will drive back to Mexico City.
Day 4 Mexico City—Los Angeles
After breakfast free time until departure time for flight back to Los Angeles. End of services.
